The FK9 is a new generation ULM, i.e. made of composite fiber (carbon and honeycomb structure in particular).
The aircraft is designed around a reinforced steel tube structure. This lattice supports the occupants, the parachute and the engine bracket. It ensures the rigidity of the front of the aircraft. The rear is made of honeycomb and carbon fiber. The horizontal tail is made of aluminum, the moving parts of the elevator and rudder as well as the ailerons and flaps are covered in fabric. Two options are offered by the manufacturer BF TECHNIK at the wing level: The wings are either two-thirds covered in fabric, this is the Utility version or entirely, this is the Club version. The wings are made of composite. Basically, the FK9 is a German machine manufactured in Poland. We find in this ULM the standards that have made the reputation of the manufacturing of our neighbors across the Rhine.
The DR 400 is an aircraft produced by Robin Aircraft. It is a very pleasant aircraft to fly because it offers excellent forward visibility.
Currently, it represents more than 50% of the French aeronautical fleet in flying clubs thanks to its good reputation for use in schools or for travel. Performance Its engine which develops 120 HP allows it to reach 200 km/h in cruising speed. Its 110 liter tank gives it the possibility of having an autonomy of 4 hours while accommodating 3 to 4 people.
